Crossings Institute is dedicated to equipping college-age students and young adults who are pursuing a call to ministry. The heart of our mission is to equip those who are answering their kingdom calling through practical experience, coaching, mentoring, biblical community, and education. Opportunities include our full-time Graduate Residency and part-time internships.

Graduate Residency

The Crossings Institute Graduate Residency is a 12-month, full-time program designed to train and equip servant leaders with the knowledge and skills to make a meaningful impact in ministry. It is specifically for young adults who have completed an undergraduate degree and are ready for specialized ministry training. Our intentional program helps future leaders uncover where they thrive in their God-given gifts and abilities.

Applications open December 1.

Graduate Residency

This program is for individuals who

  • Feel a call to ministry in the church 
  • Have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in area(s) of interest 
  • Have volunteer experience in a church or organization setting 
  • Are team-oriented 
  • Have oral and written communication skills 
  • Are people-oriented 
  • Can build relationships, are proactive, and work with volunteers 
  • Are prepared to participate and learn in a classroom setting

Crossings Institute

Internship

The Crossings Institute Internship is for young adults (age 18+) who have graduated from high school and are pursuing a college degree or equivalent education. Part-time internships are available for a year-long experience or a short-term summer experience. This program provides hands-on experience and training in various ministry areas, helping interns gain a deeper appreciation and understanding of how to be servant leaders within the church.

Application for summer session opens January 1, 2026.

The Graduate Residency is a one-year program with a new cohort beginning in May 2026. Applications open on December 1, 2025.

The Internship program application for the summer session opens on January 1, 2026.

Sheila has served on multiple teams at Crossings, including women’s ministry, communications, project management, and adult ministry. She combines her experience in ministry, education, and other areas with a heart to equip pastors and servant leaders for kingdom ministry.
